Food4Less Workers to Rally for Better Wages, Staffing, Security, and Benefits

San Diego, CA – UFCW Local 135 will hold a Food4Less contract rally on Wednesday, June 5 at 11am at the Mission Valley location. With their current agreement set to expire on June 8, the rally aims to draw attention to the workers' fight for a new one.
UFCW Local 135 represents over 700 workers across thirteen Food4Less locations in San Diego and Imperial counties. These essential workers are #United4Better wages, staffing, security, and benefits, and are taking the necessary action to ensure their voices are heard.
"With the contract set to expire next week, our members at Food4Less are uniting for better wages, staffing, security, and benefits," said Todd Walters, president of UFCW Local 135. "The company only responds when workers act. And the time for action is now!"
