Stop Using County Resources to Detain and Deport Community Members!
Show Up to Urge Supervisors to Do the Right Thing!
Tomorrow, County Supervisor Nora Vargas will ask the other supervisors to vote on Item 29, to prohibit the Sheriff from handing over people to ICE without a warrant. Eight other counties in California have already chosen to stop ICE transfers, and it’s past time for San Diego County to join them. Billionaire Elon Musk is urging people to oppose this. We need to speak up to tell the supervisors to vote YES with Nora! Join Alliance San Diego and We Are California in this important action!
