Hoorah! The 45th President is now a convicted felon.

Appeals and motions must be filed by June 13. Sentencing date is July 11, just four days before the GOP convention.

Every single juror walked in front of Trump on their way out after the judge dismissed them.

After jury left, Trump’s lawyer argued for an acquittal, saying there was no basis for a conviction. Motion denied. The defendant sat motionless at table for what seemed a long time.

Expect a lot of back patting from the mass media saying that the system prevailed and justice was served on May 30. 2024.

I think it’s great that the jury reached a reasonable conclusion. But the damage caused by the misinformation and accusations generated by Team Trump won’t go away with the verdict.
